Matrimonio, él con 30 años y ella 30
años, con un hijo de 6 años. Actualmente ella está
embarazada
3.- Qué hacían anteriormente
y qué hacen en la actualidad:
Actualmente está sin su trabajo habitual, él
era antes molinero. El tsunami se llevó todas sus pertenencias.
El se dedica a conducir un Tuc-tuc (Triciclo motorizado, los taxis de
allí) de otro y reparten los beneficios.

Otros temas de interés:
Él es el secretario de la comunidad y tiene
algo de conocimientos del inglés, pero muy básico. Él
tiene actualmente un pequeño molino instalado en la cocina, donde
hace algo de trabajo, pero según me explicó puede hacer
muy poco, ya que la maquina es muy pequeña y no tiene fuerza
para hacer trabajos grandes. A ella se le entregó una de las
maquinas de coser. Del coro de jóvenes que me recibieron cantando,
había un niño pequeño, era hijo de este matrimonio.

Estoy muy agradecido por la casa entregada por ustedes. Querido señor,
my ocupación era un pequeño negocio. Tenía un pequeño
camión, Pero desgraciadamente estas cosas fueron destruidas por
el Tsunami. Ahora lo único que tengo es esta casa donada por
ustedes.
Así que estimado señor, estaría muy agradecido
si me pudiera ayudar a comprar un pequeño camión. Sería
una gran ayuda para mí. Con los mejores deseos.

Dear Luis Dominguez,
I received your letter few days ago. Firstly I would like to thank for
you about that letter.
We must thank for you and your lions clubs International foundation
as help our people. Specially Tsunami disaster. Lot of people who lived
in this area. They lost their family members. Their houses subsistence
and lot of things. In that occasion you and your lion clubs International
foundation help our helpless people. So your lion clubs International
foundation offer house and lot of subsidy our helpless peoples. I must
thank you and your lions clubs International foundation about that help.
So I am glad about your arrival to visit Sri Lanka and our village.
We invite come again to Sri Lanka and our village. If you come again
our village our villagers will happy so much. The sawing machines that
you gave our peoples they are use their work. So we began cultivate
our garden vegetables and fruit. I believe you will happy about that.
But the people who live in this about water. We have not enough water
for our cultivation and other work.
I hope your lions clubs International foundation will build community
center and children park in our village (so chairman Priyantha Rupasingha
try develop our village)
Now I have two children 15.02.2008 My wife born new child. He is a boy.
Now I have two boys and I wont to lot of money for maintain my family.
Because I must paid lot of money for my Tuc Tuc monthly. Therefore if
you help me I can buy a small lorry or Tuc Tuc. It will big help for
my family development. I believe you help me in future for our family
development.
So I must thanks for you a sent pictures. That picture was a pleasurable
things to my son Nimnad. So I invite you come again to Sri Lanka and
our village. We will hope your arrival we wish you and your lions clubs
International foundation a bright future and happy New Year.

Segunda visita realizada entre el 9 y 11 de Diciembre
del año 2009
Les vi bien, sigue siendo el secretario del barrio,
actualmente trabaja de noche en el puerto de Hambantota. Ella hace almohadas,
y él me entrega una carta solicitando ayuda para los estudios
de sus hijos. Se le entregó dos latas de pintura y telas (Grupo
2 – 7 rollos buenos).
